What happens today?

You have an appointment at Purzelbaum.

Purzelbaum is a practice.

Here we help children move.

This page tells you what happens.

Read it with a grown-up.

I ask you: How are you?

    You may ask me anything.

  6. Step 6

    I watch how you move.

    You walk a few steps.

    Maybe you hop.

Maybe you climb onto a bench.

    This does not hurt.

  7. Step 7

    Then we practise together.

  8. Step 8

    You may say stop.

Say stop when you need a break.

    Then we stop.

    Then you have a break.

    You may drink some water.

  9. Step 9

    Your grown-up stays with you.

How will it feel?

We do not know how you will feel today.

All of that is okay.

You may tell us how you feel.

For parents: about this page

This page is written in Easy Read; the German version follows the rules of Leichte Sprache (DIN SPEC 33429, Netzwerk Leichte Sprache). Short sentences with one statement each, common words, active voice, no metaphors or irony, large type, generous line spacing, left-aligned text, and an illustration supporting every step. It deliberately makes no promise about how your child will feel or what therapy will achieve — it describes what will actually happen, because that is what reduces fear. Read it together a day before the appointment rather than in the waiting room.
