Terms of treatment for physiotherapy at Purzelbaum Kinderphysiotherapie.
1. Scope
These terms apply to all treatment contracts between Purzelbaum Kinderphysiotherapie, Inhaberin Marlene Kuhnert, and the person who books an appointment. For patients under 18 the contract is concluded by a parent or guardian. This website does not sell anything; there is no online shop and therefore no right of withdrawal for distance sales.
2. Treatment contract
A contract comes into existence when we confirm an appointment. Treatment on the basis of a statutory prescription is provided within the scope of the Heilmittel-Richtlinie and our contracts with the health insurers. Treatment without a prescription is provided as a private service at the prices published on this website.
3. Prescriptions
A statutory prescription must be presented at the first appointment. Unless the doctor has noted otherwise, treatment must begin within 28 days of the date of issue, and an interruption of more than 14 days may invalidate the prescription. Appointments missed for reasons within your control can lead to the insurer refusing to pay for the remaining sessions; we will tell you if that risk arises.
4. Prices and payment
For statutory patients we invoice the health insurer directly. Insured persons under the age of 18 are exempt from the statutory co-payment under § 32 (2) SGB V in conjunction with § 62 SGB V and pay nothing. From the age of 18 the co-payment of 10 euros per prescription plus 10 percent of the treatment cost applies unless an exemption certificate is presented. Private patients and self-payers receive an invoice payable within 14 days; self-payer prices are: Bobath for children 45 min 72 euros, Vojta therapy 30 min 55 euros, infant consultation 30 min 48 euros, scoliosis check 45 min 65 euros.
5. Cancellations
Please cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment, by telephone or email. An appointment cancelled later or missed without notice is charged privately at the full self-payer price, because the slot cannot be reallocated at short notice. Health insurers do not reimburse this charge. If your child is acutely ill we waive the charge; simply tell us when you call.
6. Cooperation and accompaniment
Patients under 14 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or another adult authorised by them, who remains in the practice for the duration of the appointment. Young people aged 14 and over may attend alone with the written agreement of a parent or guardian. Please inform us before the first appointment of any illness, medication, allergy or previous surgery relevant to treatment.
7. Scope and limits of physiotherapy
Physiotherapy supports the movement development and function of your child. It is not a medical diagnosis and does not replace medical treatment. We do not promise a particular outcome; the success of therapy depends on many factors beyond our control, including cooperation at home. We will tell you clearly if we believe therapy is not indicated or a different form of care would serve your child better.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health caused by our negligence, and for other damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and then only up to the foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. Professional liability insurance is in place.
9. Confidentiality
All members of our team are bound by medical confidentiality under § 203 StGB and by the GDPR. Information is passed to the prescribing doctor as the prescription requires, and to anyone else only with your explicit consent.
10. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
German law applies. Where the person booking is a consumer, the statutory place of jurisdiction applies. Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. Version: 1 September 2026.
